Amara - 2024

This is one of the first avatars I kit-bashed when I began my journey learning Blender, Unity, and Substance Painter.

Asset Credits:

All texture work is original.

First I create my base textures through Substance Painter.

I created two for a swapping toggle.

Next I attached and weight painted all my assets through Blender.

This is the most tedious step in the process; I have to create blend-shapes for each clothing toggle, redo UV maps for optimization, and the weight painting itself is the longest process.

By the end of this step, it looks like a mess, but I actually have it very organized and ready for Unity.

Unity is my favorite step!

I get to add back in the color, textures, and create animations for all my toggles.

I love creating custom facial expressions for each hand gesture.
